Benefit Auction: Conducting & Coordinating
Conducting and coordinating your live auction segment and/or special cash appeal (aka: Fund-A-Need, Paddle Raise) and silent auction portion of your benefit fundraiser. This consists of working with various committees, professional planners, media companies and all others associated with your gala or event. All aspects of your benefit fundraiser are carefully planned and designed with the best interests of your organization, school or special cause and its supporters in mind. We approach our commitment to your overall success as working with you, not just for you. Our goal is to enhance & exceed your event expectations. Your fundraiser will be beyond successful, it will be outstanding.
Support & Assist with volunteer preparation, procurement of items, timeline for the event, plus many other considerations too numerous to mention. In addition services are available for Master of Ceremonies and “Voice of God” needs.
Auctioneer Assistants
Auctioneer Assistants are available and highly recommended for the specific improvement of any Benefit Auction Gala or Event, Live Auction Segment. Known in the world of auctioning as a Ringman, most people think of them as Bid Spotters. Volunteers usually conduct these duties at most Benefit Auctions. Although volunteers are appreciated for their time & effort and do their best, it’s been proven time and again that a professional Auctioneer Assistant (Ringman) can absolutely enhance the overall flow and definitely increase, comfortably, the total dollar amount of the Live Auction segment. The Auctioneer Assistant’s participation with a Benefit Auction goes far & above just recognizing someone bidding on an item. They respectfully encourage and (with careful enthusiasm) advise the Bidder to consider increasing their bid and are skilled to recognize when to move on.

We are pleased to offer an opportunity regarding our Fee for Services Rendered, To Be Paid For (partially or completely). Once contracted as part of your LIVE AUCTION Segment, or in addition to your SPECIAL CASH APPEAL (aka: Fund-A-Need, Paddle Raise), we will Donate In Full a signed/autographed and Professional Framed Picture or Lithograph of Sports Memorabilia (Player/s or Coach) from the following (subject to availability);
- Detroit Tigers
- Detroit Red Wings
- Detroit Lions
- Detroit Pistons
- UM Football
- UM Basketball
- MSU Football
- MSU Basketball
These come with a Letter of Authenticity and in many instances will also have personal photos of the Player/s or Coach signing the piece (examples on this page). The only stipulation is that this donation/item from Jim Alban Auctioneer + is only to be offered as a Live Auction Item for your Fundraising Gala or Event.
