BAS – Benefit Auction Specialist is special designation provided to members of the National Auction Association. Less than one (1) percent of professional auctioneers throughout North America have attained this specialized training in benefit auctions through the BAS program. It is a two part program (24 classroom hours) which educates, teaches and instructs auctioneers how to enhance their fundraising services to their client/customers. In addition to the completion of the coursework, testing, submission of specialized reports and various reports of proven accomplishments, skills & expertise, it is necessary to complete 24 hours of continuing education courses every three years to maintain this designation. It is in your, and your organization or schools, best interest to only consider the assistance of a Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (through the NAA). It’s been proven that this will not only increase revenue, but will elevate the overall success of your fundraising gala or event. I’m very proud to have attained and maintained my BAS designation for your advantage.
